Guess what?! Quite by accident, I discovered the best chaser for a shot of vodka.
We were sitting around having a BBQ one afternoon and someone said “Hey! Who wants to do a shot?” Well, what’s your answer supposed to be to that…no? Hah! I don’t think so!
Problem was, they didn’t really have any good chasers. I do kind of like a chaser when I do a shot. So, right in front of me was a bag of orange circus peanuts, you know, the candy, which by the way are my absolute favorite! Hence, the best chaser for vodka was born.
My favorite vodka is Peach Ciroc – get it ice cold – oh, it goes down so smooth. And then chase it with an orange circus peanut. To. Die. For.
But, in case you find yourself with Peach Ciroc and no orange circus peanuts, try this. Muddle some strawberries (you could also add a mint leaf) in a glass, add ice, add a very generous shot or two of Peach Ciroc, and just a splash of club soda. Yum!
It’s what I’m drinkin’ tonight.
