I have always loved the look of these delightful cocktails in their copper mugs – the crushed ice, the sprig of mint, and a colorful straw all lend to a refreshing presentation.
Though full disclosure: I am not a fan of ginger, and therefore, not a fan of ginger beer. But somehow this works for me.
Here’s the recipe:
Crushed ice (fill the mug)
2 ounces of your favorite vodka
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
4 ounces of your favorite Ginger Beer
Garnish with a slice of lime and a mint sprig
You can find this recipe anywhere but I followed the recipe from the cookbook, Basic Bitchin by Joey Skladany. Enjoy this while listening to Episode 18, the cookbook episode, of Lit with Kelley and Jaclyn.
Cheers!
